Our Mission
The James E. Lewis Museum of Art (JELMA) Foundation ensures that JELMA acts to serve the academic and cultural needs of Morgan's community and beyond the campus through exhibitions, workshops, seminars, radio and television broadcasts, and youth education programs.
Our goal is to reach and educate a national audience through traveling exhibitions, artifact loans, conference lectures, and scholarly publications, as well as web lectures and gallery podcasts. We are committed to exploring the ways art can teach and reach all humanities.
